Neither of the bullets, the Game King or the SST, have any issues feeding in the bolt 30.06, but the SSTs feed without any hiccups in the AR. Both have proven to be very accurate in my hand loads but I am now concerned with using these soft points for anything but direct boiler room shots. 308 (the Faxon barrel loves heavier bullets) but had a few of these that I loaded on the 30.06. They ended up about 30 feet apart although I don't know how far they were apart when I shot, I never saw the buck even though I had cleared the area behind the doe. Those game kings are killers. Apparently the bullet, a Sierra Game King 165 grain spitzer boat tail on a trimmed, used case over 42.4 grains of 414, deflected when it broke the vertebrae and tumbled into the buck's boiler room. Delivers extremely deep penetration with nearly 100 weight retention and has a sleek ogive. The entry and exit wounds were at nearly right angles. Remington 30-06 Springfield 150 Grain Copper Solid Tipped. When we skinned and quartered the doe, we found entry and exit wounds on the neck with a broken vertebrae. Low and behold there was a 5 point buck with a very large hole in the boiler room, taking its last breath. She dropped and after waiting to see if she would move I walked down to where she lay and heard some noise on my left.

Since we had an abundance of doe tags, and only a few buck tags, I decided to take this one so when she poked her head up I took a neck shot. The Sunday before last I was sitting on a trail, about 135 yards out, and a white tail doe was moving along slowly, stopping to feed and then poking her head up above the bushes.

I have no pictures since there is no cell reception at our lease so I don't carry a phone (although I will from now on). The rates shown are estimates and they can change based upon quantity of item purchased, actual item weight, or other factors. Strange things can happen to bullets as they travel.
